MATCH stands for bringing together startups with the right experts, solution partners, and investors at the right time.
Our network acts as Sherpas: guiding founders, challenging assumptions, and helping ventures ascend step by step.
In practice, this means better prepared startups and deeper investor relationships.
Our Story
2021–2022 · Foundation & Stealth
K2MATCH began in 2021 when Badr Moudden and Alexandros Dohn met in Berlin, sharing a clear frustration with fragmented, transactional startup ecosystems. By August 2021, the company was incorporated in Cyprus. Operating between Paphos and Düsseldorf, the team worked in stealth mode to build trust and a meaningful network before going public.
2023 · Official Kick-off
In 2023, K2MATCH launched publicly, hosted its first Investor Lounges in Düsseldorf and Monaco, launched the online Dealflow platform, and curated an initial portfolio of 500 startups.
2024 · Monaco Series & Ecosystem Expansion
In 2024, K2MATCH hosted three Monaco Investor Lounges and expanded its curated network to over 2,000 startups. A defining moment was collaborating with Peter Harrison to integrate leadership psychology and execution discipline. The same year, Adam G. Butkiewicz joined as CTO to strengthen the technical foundation and online matching platform.
