Terms and Conditions of Participation
Effective as of June 9th, 2025 (Updated Version of our Terms and Conditions)
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in any event, summit, or activity (the “Event”) organised by K2MATCH (the “Organiser”). By registering for, attending, or participating in the Event in any capacity, all attendees—including startups, investors, government officials, media representatives, sponsors, speakers, vendors, and any other individuals or entities (collectively, “Participants”)—agree to be bound by the Terms set forth below.
1. No Endorsement, Vetting, or Guarantee
The Event is curated for informational and networking purposes only. While the Organiser may exercise discretion in selecting or admitting certain Participants, the Organiser does not endorse, recommend, guarantee, or verify the:
• Legitimacy, financial standing, compliance, or trustworthiness of any Participant;
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any representations, statements, or materials presented;
• Quality, viability, or legality of any business, product, service, or investment opportunity.
Participation in the Event should not be construed as any form of validation or approval by the Organiser.
2. No Investment, Legal, or Financial Advice
Nothing presented at the Event—whether through pitches, discussions, panels, or promotional material—constitutes financial, legal, investment, or other professional advice. The Organiser does not act as a fiduciary or advisor to any Participant.
All Participants are solely responsible for conducting their own due diligence before relying on any information obtained during the Event or engaging in any transaction or relationship.
3. No Liability for Business or Financial Decisions
The Organiser, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for any:
• Loss, damages, or claims arising from business decisions, investments, partnerships, or transactions initiated during or after the Event;
• Fraud, misrepresentation, or omissions by other Participants;
• Disputes or breakdowns in communication or trust between Participants.
Participation is entirely at the Participant’s own risk.
4. Forward-Looking Statements Warning
Some presentations may include forward-looking statements regarding future operations, opportunities, or market performance. These are speculative in nature, based on assumptions, and inherently uncertain. Actual outcomes may differ materially. The Organiser is not liable for any reliance placed on such statements.
5. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
All intellectual property presented or displayed by Participants remains the property of its respective owner. Unless explicitly authorised:
• Recording, reproduction, sharing, or distribution of event materials is strictly prohibited;
• Participants should not disclose confidential, proprietary, or sensitive information obtained from others at the Event.
The Organiser disclaims responsibility for any unauthorized use or disclosure by other Participants.
6. Sponsorship and Third-Party Content
Event sponsors or third-party presenters may promote their products, services, or brands. The Organiser does not verify or endorse the accuracy of their claims and is not liable for their conduct or content.
Engagements with sponsors or third parties are undertaken at each Participant’s sole discretion and risk.
7. Event Recording, Photography, and Use of Likeness
The Event may be recorded, photographed, or live-streamed by the Organiser or its partners. By attending, Participants:
• Consent to being filmed, recorded, or photographed;
• Grant the Organiser a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free right to use their name, image, likeness, and voice in any media for promotional or archival purposes.
If you do not wish to be captured, you must notify the Organiser in writing prior to the Event. The Organiser will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee complete exclusion.
8. Changes, Cancellations, and Force Majeure
The Organiser reserves the right to change, reschedule, or cancel the Event (in whole or in part) due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:
• Speaker cancellations;
• Technical difficulties;
• Natural disasters or acts of God;
• Epidemics, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.
In such cases, the Organiser is not liable for any resulting costs, losses, or damages incurred by Participants.
9. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver
By participating in the Event, each Participant voluntarily:
• Assumes all risks associated with attendance, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property loss, or damage;
• Waives any and all claims against the Organiser for any harm arising from or connected to their participation, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Indemnification
Each Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Organiser and its affiliates from and against any and all liabilities, claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
• Their breach of these Terms;
• Any misconduct, unlawful act, or misrepresentation;
• Any dispute or issue with another Participant.
11. Final Acknowledgement
By registering for or attending the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full, and that you are acting in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
